Bird Detective is an emo band from Adelaide, South Australia.
Biography[]
Bird Detective perform original music which is primarily influenced by bands of the midwest emo revival. The band members are all previous students of Heathfield High School and have performed together in such groups as Misfits of Sythia and The Cortex Shift. Their debut album Season 1 was recorded in April 2021 and was released on April 22nd, 2022. A video clip for their single 'BPA Free' was filmed in October 2022. In 2023 Bird Detective featured at #47 on the Three D Radio top 100 and the single 'BPA Free' was also included in 'Depthcharge 22,' the Three D Radio compilation album. A new five track EP was recorded by the band in October 2023 at Wizard Tone Studios to be released in 2024.
