Brat 86 is a three piece punk rock band from Adelaide, South Australia.


Biography[]

Guitarist and vocalist Josh Mounsey formed Brat 86 in 2012. After releasing the full length You're The Reason I'm Angry and the What If God's An Alien? EP, Brat 86 recorded the Three's A Crowd, The Biggest We've Had split EP with Line 39 and Beyond The Picture. In 2017, Brat 86 recorded their second full length Playing The Game. In 2018, they released a promotional video for the track United. In 2019, Brat 86 rerecorded a handful of older songs for the Gone But Not Forgotten Songs EP which also includes a cover of the Ramones' Rockaway Beach and two original tracks. The songs Gone But Not Forgotten and Same Shit, Different Day were given animated music videos. In 2020, Brat 86 recorded multiple live session songs from their practice room with multi cam videos. Brat 86 released their first single in 3 years, ‘Anxiety’ in 2022, recorded and mixed by themselves and mastered at the Blasting Room. The band are currently working on 3 new singles due for release in 2023.
