Cate Dyer is an Adelaide based singer and educator.
Biography[]
Dyer has a Bachelor of Popular Music and Creative Technology from the Elder Conservatorium and a Bachelor of Cultural Tourism. She has extensive experience in performance and presenting providing Voice Coaching, Workshops and Community Programs that support youth, women and children through her business Critical Soul Productions. She runs Project Six, a series of projects with a musical foundation that aim to inspire, empower, create awareness and spread compassion. Run by Dyer in collaboration with visual artists, media professionals, musicians and industry professionals the third of these projects will be announced soon.
Dyer has supported acts including Delta, Chance Waters, Spit Syndicate and The Tongue as well as join talented Sydney based hip hop artist Coptic Soldier for his Australian tour supporting Mind Over Matter. She is part of the GTNBZY crew, her song Nightlight with DAB is on the GTNBZY Mix Tape project. Currently working on solo and collaborative material with the GTNBZY crew after the completion of a degree in Popular Music and Creative Technologies at the Elder Conservatorium Cate also performs with cover bands Funk Throne and RnB duo The 411.
She is the presenter of an educational music show and has performed throughout Australia in Schools, Festivals and Events including MainStage at Carols by Candlelight, Credit Union Christmas Pageant, Clipsal 500 and Channel 9 Christmas Events, Nova & Mix 102.4 Breakfast Show.
Dyer is a main presenter and Media personal for Humphrey B Bear including televised live crosses for Channel Nine and SA Life. Cate presented the Humphrey B Bear Fringe Show at Chanel Nine Studios and regularly performs with Humphrey for Community and Charity events as well as Hospital visits. She has written children's songs and material for Humphrey Bear, The Adelaide Fringe and for Children's CD released through Noises For Kids.

Receiving the Directors Award for Academic Achievement and Philanthropy three years running from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Cate's vision is to create a platform for young people to express and empower themselves through music, public speaking and performance opportunities.
