Eraser Description (stylised as ER@SER DESCRIPTION) is a jazz/pop/electro trio from Adelaide, South Australia.
Biography[]
Eraser Description perform a unique style of music that blends jazz, fusion, pop and soul. They were first active in mid 2016 when they entered the National Campus Band Competition. They won the South Australian final of the competition in August 2017.
Eraser Description is made up of two keyboard players and a drummer who are all professionally trained through the Elder Conservatorium. They perform technically virtuosic music that also focuses on maintaining a solid groove and feel. They are influenced by bands such as KNOWER, Dirty Loops and Snarky Puppy. Eraser Description often perform top 40 hits in their own style as well as original material inspired by their jazz and fusion upbringing. They also have a recognisable stage presence that involves wearing sunglasses and a light-hearted attitude to their performance.
Eraser Description have supported Ocean Alley at Jive and worked with 2 time Grammy award winning bass player Michael League. Their debut self titled album was released on July 5th, 2018.
