On The Drain, KC and Todd spoke about the album being very influenced by '''Deathcore''' and is a bigger step in production value than the original 2010 release and having more humor and tribal elements to the project, that they both felt the last album lacked. Todd noted that he hasn't contributed much towards the album as KC has been producing it solo, however Todd does feature vocals on a few tracks.

On The Drain, KC said he struggled to stop working on the album, adding way too many songs that he had to force him self to stop. The album is a complete overkill with 18 tracks, however if this is the last time the band releases an album, at least they went out with a bang. They said they're both open to the idea of doing more, as long as a fan base demands it.[[File:KCaveMen - Death From Above (Music Video)|left|thumb|330x330px]]
