Lucifer's Lounge is a jazz/lounge/pop band from Adelaide, South Australia.
Biography[]
Formed in June 1999 Lucifer's Lounge started playing at the Exeter Hotel in Rundle Street on Thursday nights to only a handful of people. The bands popularity grew quickly and it wasn't long until other venues were wanting to book the band.
In January 2000 the band started a residency at the Royal Oak Hotel on O'Connell Street in North Adelaide on a Tuesday Night. Within a couple of weeks Lucifer's Lounge had turned Tuesday night into the Hotels biggest night of the week. People would line up every week to see the band and its own brand of Lounge music.
Over the years the group has performed as a three piece jazz band and as a large show-band for gala events.
