Poly and the Statics was a pop rock band from Adelaide, South Australia.
Biography[]
Poly and the Statics were active during the mid 2000s and built themselves a strong reputation around hometown Adelaide and interstate having supported The Presets, Wolf&Cub, The Lemonheads, Dappled Cities Fly, Panda Band, Starky, The Mess Hall, Riff Random, Dead Frenchmen and The Boat People, succeeded in assorted competition, played at the 2007 Big Day Out released their and received solid radio airplay across Australia on Triple J, Nova, FBI, RRR and Three D Radio (..#15 most played 2005, #16 in 2006). The bands third EP was entitled Paper Lanterns.
