Reckoning was an indie rock band active in Adelaide, South Australia from 1993 to 1998.
Biography[]
After spending time gaining popularity Reckoning had a recording spot on Triple J. They recorded live in the ABC studios and performed three songs in a row with an introduction by Richard Kingsmill. Then for the next month or so they played one of their track “Valentines Day” several times a day.
Reckoning supported the likes of The Clouds, You Am I, The Mavis’s, Underground Lovers, Ed Kuepper, and The Hummingbirds. They also supported the Tea Party at the height of their fame in front of several thousand people, and appeared on the 1996 Adelaide Big Day Out with Nick Cave and Porno For Pyros amongst other luminaries.
