Rock The Boss playing Sweet Child of Mine
Rock The Boss is an Adelaide based pub rock band formed in 2007. The lineup has changed marginally over the last 17 years with Colin McGee, Jackie Ramsay, Paul Hutchings, and Steve Carrol being founding members. Colin was rhythm guitarist from 2007-2014, rejoining in 2017. Steve left the band in late 2023 to be replaced by Bey Taylor, a well-known Adelaide guitarist. The band has had several bass guitarists, with Paul Sharpe filling that role since 2019.
The style of music has been described as 'pub rock' encompassing guitar-oriented music from the early 1970's to the 1990's and beyond.
