Sparkspitter is an art pop band from Adelaide. The group was formed from members of Encarta, Thunderclaw, Strega, and Bronze Chariot.
Biography[]
SPARKSPITTER have played alongside Prince Rama (USA), Gold Panda (UK), Thee Oh Sees (USA), Om (USA), Civil Civic (UK), Love of Diagrams, Charge Group, Steering By Stars, Tiny Spiders, Coerce, and Making. They have performed at the Adelaide Fringe, Lost City, and Ocean Graves festivals; toured through Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore; and made appearances on Triple J and local radio stations throughout Australia and South-East Asia.
SPARKSPITTER won 'Most Popular Experimental / Avant-Garde Artist' at the 2016 SAM Awards.
