The Villenettes is a rockabilly quartet from Adelaide that formed in March 2012. Their début EP, V for Villendetta held the number #1 spot on Three D Radio for 4 consecutive weeks.
Biography[]
The Villenettes have supported the Grammy-nominated Los Straightjackets (US) at the Kustom Kulture Weekend and played with touring artists including Gay Paris (SYD), The Floors (WA), Mesa Cosa (VIC). In recent tours to Melbourne they have played to enthusiastic crowds at The Old Bar and Yah Yah's (Fitzroy) and The Retreat Hotel (Brunswick).
Festival appearances include Hillside Festival 2014, Semaphore Music Festival in 2012, 2013 and 2014, SA's Deep South Roots and Blues Festival at the Governor Hindmarsh, and 3CR's "Women of Rock" at the Public Bar, Melbourne.
